AppBlade Billing - When am I billed and why?

APPBLADE BILLING - WHEN AM I BILLED AND WHY?


TAKE ALL YOU WANT AND PAY ONLY FOR DEVICES YOU USE

AppBlade's billing is based on active devices

Crash reports and feedback? Unlimited. Users? Invite as many as you want. Teams? Create away. Projects, Apps, and Versions? Go wild, we're not counting. 

We are only looking at the active devices in each billing period. That way you're only getting billed when you're actively using AppBlade.

Not using AppBlade this month? No bill!


WHAT MAKES A DEVICE "ACTIVE"?

AppBlade charges for active devices in each billing period.

So if you deploy to 300 devices the first month you would be billed based on those devices If those devices all became completely inactive the next month then the next month you would be charged nothing.

The things that make a device active are specifically:

 
  • Installing/updating an app (Indie plan, Pro plan if installing an iOS enterprise app)
  • Using any of the SDK features (Indie plan, Pro plan if from an iOS enterprise app)
  • Using MDM (mobile device management) to remotely control devices (Business plan if just installing/uninstalling apps, Enterprise plan for more advanced MDM commands)

So if you are just distributing apps and not using the AppBlade SDK, you only get charged for each unique device that installs your apps in a given month.


AND DON'T FORGET THE "FREE" PART

AppBlade is free with no limits for 30 days. We want you to try all the features to make sure it fits your needs.

After your 30 days free trial your first 25 devices are free. Use all the AppBlade features your need for those first 25 devices, on the house! This applies to all plan tiers/types.

We will ask you for your billing information after your 30 day trial. We do this so that if you go over your 25 free devices your account will stay active without interruption. Nobody likes getting calls from their users asking why things aren't working, right? There will be absolutely no billing activity on your account unless you exceed your 25 devices, though.
